Your Body is a direct Gift from God, shaped by the Hands of the Creator with Wisdom, Love and Intention. Your Skin, Bones, Shape and Features are not Mistakes-they are Marks of your Lineage, your Spiritual Purpose and your Resilience.
In a World that tries to profit off of Self-Hate, Accepting your Natural Body is a form of Resistance and Healing. Every Scar, Curve, Freckle, and Blemish on your Skin tells a Story that is part of your Becoming.
When you Reject your Body, you Reject your Ancestors and the Divine Design they passed down to you. When you Love your Body, you invite your Spirit back into your Flesh. That is where Healing begins.
You do not need to Fix yourself. You need to See yourself through God’s Eyes-as Beautiful, Worthy, and already Whole. When you look in the Mirror, speak Life, not Criticism. You are not a Project to be corrected-you are a Prayer Answered, walking in Skin.
“Creator, thank You for My Body,
Given to Me with Wisdom and Care.
Help Me to see My Reflection as Holy,
And to treat My Body as a Sacred Temple.
May I walk in Confidence,
Rooted in Your Love and Intention for My Life.”
“I fully Accept My God-Gifted Body.
It is Sacred, Powerful, and created with Purpose.”
Mirror Ceremony:
Stand in front of a Mirror.
Look into your own Eyes, place a Hand over your Heart, and say:
“Thank You, Creator, for My Body.
I Accept every part of Me as a Gift from You.”
Then touch your Shoulders, Stomach, Hips, Face, etc., gently saying loving words to each Part.
Body Letter Exercise:
Write a Letter to your Body, starting with “Dear Body, I’m sorry for…” and ending with “I now choose to…”
Thank your Body for carrying your Soul all these years.
Keep the Letter in a Safe Place or bury it under a Tree as a way to honor the Earth Body you live in.
In Native Teachings, the Body is not just a Physical Form, but a Spiritual Vessel. It is the Earth Suit gifted to us by Creator so we may walk this Land, fulfill our Purpose and give back to Creation.
Many of our Ancestors were stripped of the ability to Love and care for their Bodies due to Assimilation, Segregation and Colonialism. Reclaiming that Love is how we Honour their Struggles and Heal our Lineage.
Accepting your Body is a Ceremony. Each time you speak Kindness over your Self, you are rewriting a Generational Story-one of Shame into one of Sacredness.
