To Send Positive Thoughts to Others is a form of Spiritual Service. It is an invisible act of Love, Compassion, and Interconnection.
Thoughts carry Energy, and when we hold someone in the light of Peace, Healing, or Strength, it is like sending them a Spiritual Blanket to cover them, even if they never know it came from us. This is a Sacred way to participate in the Oneness of all Living Beings.
In Native American Culture, we Know that we are all connected through Spirit, Land and Energy. In Ayurveda and Reiki, this is considered a form of Energy Transmission. Even in modern science, the study of HeartMath shows that the electromagnetic field of the Heart affects Others around us. So Imagine what happens when you intentionally send Love, Protection, or Encouragement from your Heart.
This practice especially supports those who are Grieving, Sick, Struggling, or just in need of Spiritual Support. You can do it anytime-walking, Praying, sitting still, or cooking. It keeps your Heart soft and trains your Mind to focus on Generosity instead of Judgment.
Prayer:
"Creator, guide my heart to be a channel of Peace.
May the ones I think of feel uplifted.
Let my thoughts carry Healing.
Wherever my m=Mind goes, may your Love follow."
Affirmation:
“My thoughts are Medicine. I send Blessings freely and without needing to be seen.”
Activity:
Heart Beam Practice: Imagine a beam of warm light flowing from your chest to someone in need. See them surrounded by Healing, Comfort, or Joy.
Blessing List: Write a list of 5 people to Silently Bless each Morning. They can be Loved ones, Enemies or Strangers.
Wind Offering: Step outside, close your eyes, and speak a Blessing aloud to the Wind. Let it carry your Intention wherever it is needed.
Water Prayer Practice:
Whisper names or thoughts into a glass of Water.
“Water, carry this love where I cannot go.
Let this ripple become a wave of healing.
To those who are hurting, may this Water touch their Spirit.”
Drink or pour the Water into the Earth, letting the intention be received.
Cultural Tip:
In Native American and Eastern Traditions, it is common to silently Bless Others, even Strangers. Tibetan Monks Bless those who walk by. Lakota Elders Pray for Future Generations during daily chores. Sending "Positive" Energy doesn’t require permission-it requires Intention. In Anishinaabe teachings, the word for Prayer (Nagamowin) includes singing your Intention, reminding us that Positivity can be sent through Vibration, Word or Thoughts.
