Cigarettes are not the Pure Tobacco that Native Americans use for Ceremony. Cigarettes have chemicals and poisons in them, meant for Human consumption in those that lack self Control. The Tobacco and Vape Industry are Relying on those that Follow Blindly, Have Money to Burn to purchase unhealthy items to slowly destroy themselves.
“I Choose Clean Air, Clear Breath and Sacred Self-Respect. I am Worthy of Full, Healing Breaths.”
Fill a Bowl with Water and place Mint, Cedar, or a few drops of Eucalyptus Oil in it.
Place your Face above the Steam, cover your Head with a Towel and Breathe Deeply.
With every Inhale, say silently:
“This Breath is a Blessing.”
With every Exhale:
“I release the Craving, I choose Freedom.”
“Creator, help me release all that no longer serves my Body, Mind and Spirit.
I pray for Strength to walk away from Addictions that weaken me.
May I remember that my Breath is Sacred and my Lungs are a Gift.
Help me walk with Discipline, Love and Gratitude.”
Write a Letter to your Lungs.
Apologize for any harm.
Thank them for all they’ve endured.
Promise to protect them going forward.
Burn the Letter in a Ceremonial Way or bury it near a Tree as an act of Renewal.
In many Indigenous Traditions, Tobacco is Sacred and never meant for Addiction.
It is offered to Spirits, Elders and the Land as a Sign of Respect.
