Your Body is a Sacred vessel. It is a temple gifted by Creator. Every part of you from the shape of your nose to the texture of your hair, was intentionally designed.
In a world that profits from our insecurity, it is revolutionary and healing to speak love over your Body.
Every cell listens. When you whisper, "I Love my arms," or "Thank you, legs, for carrying me," your Body begins to Relax and Release old shame.
Gentle self-touch while affirming these loving words can deepen the impact.
Place your hand on your Heart, your Face, or any area that has held Rejection and speak Life into it.
You are not a mistake. You are the continuation of your Ancestors, and they live in your Skin, eyes, and Bones. To Love your Body is to Honour them.
When you Eat, pause and ask for God’s Blessing upon your Food. Let it be Nourishment, not Punishment. Let it be Sacred, not rushed. This act transforms your meals into moments of Reverence. Your Food, like your Body, deserves Blessing and Gratitude. As you grow in this practice, you will feel your Confidence deepen, your Spirit soften and your connection to Creator Strengthen.
“Creator,
Thank You for the Body You gave me.
Help me to see it with Love, to speak Life over it,
And to treat it as the Sacred Gift that it is.
Bless the Food I eat and the Hands that prepared it.
May it bring Healing, Strength and Clarity to my Body and Spirit.”
“I Love and accept my Body fully.
Every part of me is Sacred, Whole, and Beautifully made.”
Mirror Practice:
Look at yourself in the mirror. Gently touch areas you’ve judged before and say:
“I love you. Thank you. You are Sacred.”
Body Gratitude Ritual:
Before sleeping, place your hands over different body parts and thank them:
“Thank you, feet, for supporting me.”
“Thank you, hands, for all you hold.”
Meal Blessing:
Say aloud before you eat:
“Creator, Bless this food. May it Bourish my Body and Honor my Spirit.”
In Native cultures, Body Reverence is part of Ceremony. The Body is not just flesh-it is a container of Spirit, Lineage and Purpose. Many Teachings speak of touching the Body during Prayer or Singing as a way to activate Spiritual Energy. Speaking Affirmations while placing hands on the body echoes this Ancestral Wisdom.
We did not Judge bodies by size, shape, or shade—each body told a story. Reclaiming Body Love is a form of Healing Colonization, where we return to seeing ourselves through Creator’s eyes—Whole, Worthy and Beloved.
