Switching to Plant Medicine means removing eating animal Flesh and byproducts and choosing to trust Mother Earth and Her Sacred Offerings as your primary source of Healing.
When we eliminate Toxins in the Food we eat, we become Healthier.
Long before pharmaceuticals, Native Americans across the world relied on the plants, roots, flowers, barks, seeds, and fruits of the Earth to restore balance to the Body, Mind, and Spirit.
Plants do not simply Treat Symptoms-they Teach, Harmonize and reconnect us with Nature, Intuition and Creator.
When you use plant Medicine, you are choosing to coexist with Nature, not dominate it. It invites you to Listen, slow down and Learn from the Ancient Knowledge passed down through Oral Teachings, Ceremony and Observation.
Plants carry Spirit and Consciousness. Each plant has a Sacred Story, Purpose and a Relationship to humanity.
Plant Medicine includes things like sage for cleansing, cedar for protection, rose for the heart, lavender for calming, turmeric for inflammation, ginger for digestion, and cranberry for purification of the urinary tract and womb. It also includes whole, organic foods, infused oils, herbal teas, smudging, flower essences, and tinctures for Healing as well as Nourishing the Body, Mind and Spirit.
This return to Plant Medicine is not just about Health-it is about Maximizing our Power, Freedom, and Decolonization. It is how we reclaim our Connection to the Earth, to our Ancestors and to the rhythm of our own Healing. Plants meet us where we are and Teach us to live in Reciprocity-with Gratitude, Reverence and Respect.
“Beloved Mother Earth, I thank you for your Medicine, your roots, your waters and your Wisdom.
I open my heart to remember the ancient ways.
To the Spirits of the Plants, I come in peace, in humility and in gratitude.
Guide me in Learning your ways, Honoring your Power and using you only for Good.
May I walk gently upon the Earth, Protecting your Sacred Gift as I share your Healing in Integrity.
Let my Body be a vessel of your Nourishment and my Spirit a carrier of your Teachings.
So be it.”
“I trust the Earth to heal me.
I remember the ancient medicines within me.
My body knows, my spirit listens, and the plants respond in love.”
Create a Simple Home Apothecary:
Choose three healing herbs or plants (e.g., chamomile, mint, sage, rose, or turmeric).
Learn one traditional or cultural use for each plant.
Make a tea, oil, or infusion using only one plant at a time so you can listen to its effect.
Journal how it made you feel and what messages, if any, you received.
Store your herbs in glass jars and label them with intention (e.g., “Peace,” “Strength,” “Womb Healing”).
In Native American traditions, plants are not used without asking permission. Before harvesting or using a Plant, offer Tobacco, a Prayer, or a strand of your Hair, and speak aloud your Intention. Never take more than you need. Thank the Plant out loud. This is part of living in right relationship and Honouring the Spirit of the Medicine.
