Your Body is a Sacred Gift from Creator, not a Mistake or something to be changed for Others' Approval.
In a World that profits from your Shame, Loving your Natural Body becomes a Spiritual Act.
Gently Touch Yourself with Love as you say Kind, True Words:
“You are Beautiful.”
“I Honor You.”
“Thank You for carrying Me.”
This Practice helps you Release Rejection and call your Spirit back into your Body.
Creator formed every Part of you with Care. Your Lips, your Skin, your Hair, your Voice-they are not Accidents. They are Expressions of your Lineage, your Ancestors and your Divine Purpose.
Accepting your Natural Body as God-Given is an Act of both Healing and Rebellion against the Colonial Lies that said you were not Enough. Speak aloud your Gratitude for your Body every Day. Then, when you Eat, pause. Ask for God’s Blessing upon your Food. Let it become Sacred. Let your Eating be an Act of Prayer—fueling your Body with Reverence, not Guilt.
The Way you Touch, Speak to, and Feed your Body reflects your Spiritual Walk. This is where Healing begins.
“Creator, thank You for the Body You gave Me.
Help Me love every Part of it as Holy.
Bless My Hands to Touch Myself with Gentleness.
Bless My Words to Speak Life.
Bless the Food I receive,
So that it nourishes My Mind, Body and Spirit in Harmony with You.”
“I Love and Honour My Natural Body.
It is Sacred, Strong and created by God for a Divine Purpose.”
Body Blessing Touch:
Stand or Sit quietly. Place your Hands over one Body Part at a time and speak Loving Words aloud. Example:
“I love My Arms-they are Strong.”
“I love My Stomach-it carries Life Force.”
“I love My Skin-it connects Me to the Earth.”
Meal Blessing Ritual:
Before each Meal, hold your Hands above your Plate or Bowl and say:
“Creator, thank You. I ask for Your Blessing on this Food. Let it Nourish and Protect Me.”
In Indigenous Ways of Knowing, Touch and Words carry Medicine. We Touch our own Hearts during Prayer, we lay Hands on others during Healing, and we Speak Life over those we Love. Doing this for yourself is not Selfish-it is Returning to Ceremony.
Our Ancestors knew that Food and the Body are Sacred. Blessing your Food Honours the Life that was given for your Nourishment, especially when you eat Plant-Based and Consciously. Loving Touch reconnects you to your Body’s Spirit, which Trauma or Colonization may have separated. This is a gentle act of Reclaiming your Power and Presence.
